By age group, not difficulty
Every question is written for an age group: 5–7, 7–9, 9–11, 11–14 and 14–16, with the year or grade names of your country.

Make a quiz in seconds in any of 20 school subjects, pitched at the right age and matched to your curriculum — from Year 1 phonics and number bonds to GCSE trigonometry and set texts. Show the QR code on the board and every pupil plays along on a tablet, Chromebook or phone. No app to download, no pupil logins, nothing to mark.

Choose the UK, USA, Australia or Canada and only questions taught in that curriculum are used. Or switch the filter off to use everything.
Pupils scan the QR code (or type the join link), give their name and answer on their own device. Or put them in teams.
Multiple choice is marked instantly. Typed answers allow small slips — except on spelling questions — and you can change any mark.
Open the whiteboard link on the classroom computer: the join code, each question with a countdown and the results — never anyone's answers.
Use the custom quiz page to type in this week's spellings or a topic you've just taught, or paste a list straight from a spreadsheet.
Print question sheets, answer sheets, the teacher's answers and a score sheet. Handy when the Wi-Fi lets you down.
No. Pupils scan the QR code or open the join link in a web browser and type their name. Nothing is installed and nobody signs up.
Anything with a modern web browser: iPads and other tablets, Chromebooks, laptops and phones. You host from a laptop, tablet or phone.
Up to 40 pupils (or teams) on one device each, or up to 15 teams with up to three devices per team.
The host screen shows the answers, so if your laptop is mirrored to the board, open the whiteboard link on the board in a second window (or extended display), or host from your phone or tablet.
Devices connect to the host directly. Most school networks allow this; if pupils can't connect, print the paper version for now and ask your IT team to allow the site.
Quizzes and results are kept only on the teacher's own device. Pupils only give a name, which goes to the teacher's device. See the privacy notice.
